Super Boof

Super Boof originates from California, where breeder Blockhead released it under the name Blockberry. A grower from Michigan later selected a phenotype that he dubbed Super Boof, and that name stuck. The genetics consist of a cross between Black Cherry Punch and Tropicana Cookies – two parents both known for their flavor. Black Cherry Punch brings the dark fruit and the relaxed side, while Tropicana Cookies provides the citrus and the bright, upbeat edge. The result is a fairly balanced hybrid, where neither side really dominates.

The buds clearly show that attention has been paid to them. They are compact and sturdily built, with deep green hues that tend towards purple in some batches. Bright orange hairs run across them, and the entire flower is covered in a thick layer of trichomes. It is precisely this layer of resin that makes the buds sticky to your fingers and is responsible for the intense aroma. Even after breaking, that scent lingers in the room for a long time. The scent is the first thing that stands out and is quite complex. You smell sweet cherry and orange peel, but underneath lies an earthy, almost cheesy funk that balances the sweetness. This is reflected in the taste: fruity and sweet at the start, with a nutty and slightly skunky finish. Limonene, caryophyllene, and myrcene are the terpenes doing most of the work here. That combination also explains why the strain can feel both uplifting and soothing.
